Priest’s Pint

August 16 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Event Navigation

500 years ago Martin Luther started a theological reformation. Much of that theology was hammered out over a beer in a pub. Join us every third Thursday to hear a short topic, presented by a rotating group of ministers, priests, monks, and theologians, then break out for discussion over a beer.

There’s something to be said for the way beer helps us open up – to ideas and to each other. Tolkein & Lewis met at the pub weekly, and look what it did for them!

August’s guest pastor is Michael Honza who lives in Waco and is a free range pastor with the Progressive Christian Alliance, which focuses on radical inclusion. He likes to build stuff, make music, & get out in the woods. His beer preferences are dark, malty, roasty; favorite style is porter.
