The building was in good shape when we moved in, but needed several changes to make it fit our purpose. Its original use as a granary was much closer to what we needed than the theater it had become. You can see some of the initial changes here.
We removed the stage, and it completely opened up the building. We went back and forth about keeping or removing the stage and in the end it just had to come out. The entire building is about 4000 sq feet and we’ll be using every inch of it to fit in the brewhouse, fermenters, cooler, cans, and grain.
So, the big question. When will we be open? It is looking like early 2016. Two major factors – the brewhouse arrives in January and we’re still waiting on the Federal license that allows us to brew.
