Sirena Fest and Mermaid Parade is hosted on the creekside grounds at Barrow Brewing Company. The festival and parade raise money for causes in and around Central Texas. The committee is currently working to build an All-Abilities Playground in Salado, Texas.
Barrow Brewing Company believes in beer and mermaids and is proud to support this cause and the festival activities. The family-friendly festival is free and open to public. There is live music including the fantastic fiddling and spirited singing from Chalkboard Poets, vendors with unique products, and food trucks as well as educational opportunities and loads of whimsy.
The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Pace Park and can be viewed on Main Street or Royal Street. The parade ends at Barrow Brewing Company. The festival is 12 - 6 p.m.
Variety Texas is the 501(c)(3) that benefits Sirena Fest and is working to build an all-abilities playground in Salado, Texas.
After the official Sirena Festival ends at 6 p.m. we invite you to join us for the first Mermaid Costume Contest at Barrow Brewing Company at 7 p.m. This contest is open to adults 18 and older. There is a $25 fee to enter. Fabulous prizes for the winners are being made by local artisans. 100% of proceeds will be donated to Sirena Fest in support of the all-abilities playground being built in Salado, Texas.
